Thomas Cooke is a trial lawyer who handles a wide variety of litigation matters, including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, oil and gas, and personal injury cases. In his first year of practice, Mr. Cooke has successfully argued motions in court, won objection battles at trial against far more experienced attorneys, and taken the lead on defeating dispositive motions in a $42 million trespass case.

Mr. Cooke is a graduate with honors of The University of Texas School of Law, where he was an Associate Editor of Texas Law Review. Mr. Cooke was also awarded the Dean’s Achievement Award for Outstanding Student in Constitutional Law I & Criminal Law I. He also worked in the Supreme Court Clinic, where he helped draft an amicus brief in support of free speech. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Cooke was a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Sim Lake, where he drafted opinions and orders on a wide variety of motions.

Before attending The University of Texas School of Law, Mr. Cooke graduated with honors from Cornell College with a B.A. magna cum laude in History. While in undergrad, he was the team captain of the Cornell College Mock Trial team as well as The Opinions Editor for the Cornellian student newspaper.
