Jarmonique Smith is a commercial litigator whose practice focuses on complex commercial matters in both state and federal courts. Ms. Smith joined AZA from a leading global law firm where she practiced across a variety of different industries including energy, oil and gas, healthcare, and education.

Ms. Smith has experience representing corporate clients in internal and government investigations and litigating disputes involving contract disputes, products liability, Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) violations, False Claims Act (FCA) violations, and Controlled Substance Act (CSA) violations. She has handled many aspects of civil and commercial litigation, including drafting dispositive motions and trial briefs, taking and defending depositions, and managing discovery.

Ms. Smith graduated from New York University School of Law. While at NYU Ms. Smith was a student practitioner for the Equal Justice and Defender Clinic where she advocated for the rights of those who have been illegally convicted, unfairly sentenced, or abused in state jails and prisons, and a student practitioner for the Education Advocacy clinic where she worked to protect the rights of students with disabilities.
