Karina Sanchez-Peralta is a trial lawyer and a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Houston Law Center, where she was the first Diversity & Inclusion editor for Houston Law Review as well as an avid Mock Trial competitor. Throughout her time in law school, Mrs. Sanchez-Peralta was named the 1L Hippard Novice Champion at her school and was named best advocate in three intrascholastic competitions. In 2023, she was a National Trial Competition Regional champion. Additionally, she was invited to Top Gun—an invitation that recognized her as one of the top 16 advocates in the nation—where she ranked as a semifinalist.  Furthermore, Mrs. Sanchez-Peralta was named a member of the Order of the Barristers during law school. The Order of the Barristers provides national recognition for individuals who have excelled in advocacy and service at their respective schools.

Before law school, Mrs. Sanchez-Peralta was a pediatric emergency room nurse at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital for 4 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Women’s University. Mrs. Sanchez-Peralta also speaks fluent Spanish.
