Colin B. Phillips is an intellectual property attorney who focuses on patent litigation. He has handled matters involving networking, cytometry, microfluidics, laser devices, chemical processes and home goods. Aside from patent litigation, his practice includes patent licensing and transactions, inter partes reviews, trademark matters, commercial litigation and financial restructuring.  He has also represented clients pro bono in immigration appeals, landlord-tenant disputes, guardianship proceedings and trademark advising.

He has a law degree from the University of Houston Law Center and an aerospace engineering degree from Texas A&M University. Prior to and during law school, he worked as a communications and video systems engineer with Lockheed Martin for Mission Control at the NASA Johnson Space Center.

Before joining AZA, Mr. Phillips worked at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld on intellectual property litigation.
