Tyler Adams is a tenacious litigator and trial attorney who has represented a diverse range of clients and handled cases from start to finish. For example, in just his first month of practice, Tyler took the lead role in strategy development and case management while pursuing claims in the Delaware Court of Chancery on behalf of minority-members of a mismanaged LLC. Within six months, Tyler took that case all the way to trial, and won.

Tyler has extensive experience in a variety of areas including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, internal corporate disputes, employment and non-compete agreements, personal injury and wrongful death, workers compensation, property and mineral rights disputes, and class actions. Tyler has handled these cases on behalf of individual clients as well as business entities ranging from local small businesses to global leaders in energy, technology, and beyond.

Tyler is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was an editor on the Virginia Sports and Entertainment Law Journal, as well as the Co-President of UVA Lone Star Lawyers. Following the completion of his first year of law school, Tyler began working for AZA as a summer associate. During that summer, Tyler delivered opening statements at a temporary injunction hearing, across from an opposing attorney with nearly 30 years of experience, and AZA’s client ultimately prevailed. Tyler returned to AZA for the entirety of his second summer and also worked as an AZA law clerk throughout his final year of law school.

Prior to attending law school, Tyler served on active duty as a Medical Service Corps Officer in the U.S. Army, including a combat deployment as a commander and member of a Forward Surgical Team, providing direct support to U.S. Special Forces operations in Afghanistan. Tyler received numerous awards throughout his time in uniform, including the Bronze Star Medal and Combat Action Badge.
