Warren McCarty is the managing partner of AZA’s Dallas office and a partner in AZA’s intellectual property group. Mr. McCarty has served as counsel in technology-related cases resulting in verdicts and settlements of over $2.5 billion since 2015. In 2024 alone, he tried and won three patent lawsuits as lead counsel or trial counsel, helping clients secure combined verdicts encompassing over $93 million in unpaid royalties. In 2025, he served as co-lead counsel in the firm’s $78M patent infringement verdict against Samsung involving automatic content recognition software.
