Davis is a trial lawyer who has handled cases from the initial complaint all the way to verdict. Comfortable in the courtroom, Davis was a central trial team member in a 2026 trade secret misappropriation case in which the plaintiffs sought over $200 million in damages against AZA’s client. During trial, Davis directed the examination of a named defendant and argued key motions. At the end of that month-long trial, the jury found for AZA’s client on all counts and awarded the plaintiff nothing. (CAM Industrial Solutions, LLC v. Brown & Root Industrial Services, LLC et al.).

In 2025 Davis was also a key trial team member in an energy and accounting dispute that zeroed out the counter-plaintiff on its $33 million claim against AZA’s client and then recovered nearly $6 million for the client in the same trial. (Breitburn Operating et al. v. XTO Energy).

As second-year associate, Davis has already had speaking roles in three jury trials ranging in amount in controversy from $15 million to $200+ million. He has taken the depositions of key witnesses and drafted and argued countless motions.

Davis has litigated cases in a variety of areas including in breach of contract, toxic tort, breach of fiduciary duty, bankruptcy, whistleblower, personal injury, defamation, and trade secrets matters.  Davis has handled these cases across a wide range of business sectors including energy, healthcare, entertainment, private equity, and more.

Prior to joining AZA Davis received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, and his Bachelor’s Degree from Gordon College, where he served as Student Body President.

Davis was also the second-highest scorer on the July 2024 Texas Bar Exam (out of 3,299 individuals).
