Associate

Ian Marshall Sander is a commercial litigator whose experience ranges from internal investigations to complex commercial disputes. A graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, he joined AZA after a stint at global law firm Sidley Austin LLP.

Mr. Sander has coordinated day-to-day litigation strategy and workflow for multi-suit litigation; devised and implemented review protocol and interview strategies for a securities-related internal investigation; briefed dispositive and procedural motions; and successfully argued a custody petition in a pro bono case.

While in law school, Mr. Sander served as a summer associate in Rome at Coccia De Angelis Vecchio & Associati where he wrote arbitration briefs for a multinational construction contract dispute. Mr. Sander also represented clients in mediation, state court, and other fora as an advanced clinical student in the Pediatric Advocacy Clinic.
