• In a trademark infringement case, key victories at the outset of trial led infringer to agree to change its mark rather than continue trial.
• Successfully protected a third party from being compelled to turn over confidential and proprietary data—when such disclosure would have threatened the company’s survival–in a case turning on whether embedded hyperlinks infringe the copyright of the linked material.

• Defended a copyright and trademark infringement case so vigorously that we forced the plaintiff to drop the trademark claims and then won the remaining copyright claims on summary judgment.
• Defended a David start-up against a national Goliath in a trademark infringement case, resulting in the big company ultimately dropping its claims.

At trial, won dismissal of the plaintiff’s trademark infringement claims and then obtained a jury verdict on our counterclaim to invalidate the plaintiff’s trademark registration.
