December 12, 2019

HOUSTON – Two associates of AZA, or Ahmad, ZavitsanosAnaipakos, Alavi & Mensing P.C., have been elected fellows of the invitation-only philanthropic Texas Bar Foundation.

Jason McManis and Jordan Warshauer join 12 other AZA lawyers who already are fellows with the charitable group that was founded in 1965 to assist the public and improve the profession of law.

Fellows of the foundation are selected for their professional achievements and their commitment to the improvement of the justice system throughout Texas. Each year the top one-third of 1 percent of Texas attorneys are invited to become fellows. Selected nominees must then be elected by the Texas Bar Foundation Board of Trustees.

The group funds projects that provide legal services for the underserved, public education about the law, and the promotion of ethics in the legal profession.

Current AZA fellows of the foundation are firm partners Joe Ahmad, Amir Alavi, Demetrios Anaipakos, Todd Mensing and John Zavitsanos; of counsel Brian A. Simmons and David E. Warden; and associates Rey Flores, Sammy Ford IV, Hillary S. Greene, Kyle A. Poelker and Neal Sarkar.
