AZA Adds Veteran Trial Lawyer Chris Hackerman
January 25, 2023HOUSTON – AZA has hired seasoned trial lawyer Chris Hackerman whose deep experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants ranges from trade secret and employee misappropriation cases to antitrust violations and fraud claims.
Mr. Hackerman has more than 25 years of experience and joins the firm as Of Counsel. He has represented business clients in a wide variety of disputes. In the energy industry, for example, he has tried cases ranging from a rig fire to mineral interest disputes. He has handled fraud, products liability, contract disputes, embezzlement, personal injury, deceptive trade cases and more.

Before joining AZA, Mr. Hackerman was a partner at Houston litigation firm Doyle, Restrepo, Harvin & Robbins. He earned his law degree at the UCLA School of Law and his B.A. in economics from Rice University.
Since 2017, Mr. Hackerman has been an advisory council member for The Landing, a nonprofit organization in Houston for victims of human trafficking.
