AZA Settles Significant Oil and Gas Dispute
July 5, 2010
In early 2010, AZA was retained by a working interest owner on a number of undeveloped oil and gas properties throughout Texas to initiate arbitration against the joint venturer. AZA’s client alleged that the joint venturer failed to properly convey the appropriate working interest. In less than five months, AZA was able to resolve the dispute to the satisfaction of our client (who retired after the settlement). The amount of the settlement is confidential as per the request of the defendant. AZA attorneys John Zavitsanos, Joseph Ahmad, and Amir Alavi represented the Plaintiff.
