Kaitlin Hopkins is a recent graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law who has worked as a clerk at both a nationally recognized law firm and in a public defender’s office. Ms. Hopkins has passed the bar and is awaiting licensure in the District of Columbia and Texas.

At the University of Virginia School of Law, she was active with the Virginia Employment & Labor Law Association, the Virginia Journal of Social Policy & the Law, the Child Advocacy Clinic, and the Virginia Innocence Project Student Pro Bono Clinic. She also has a bachelor’s degree from Chapman University in California.

She clerked at Motley Rice LLC in South Carolina and the Colorado State Public Defender. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Hopkins taught special education as part of the Teach for America program and worked as a corporate insurance broker.
