Associate

Justin Rowinsky is a trial lawyer who focuses on complex civil litigation. He has a broad range of experience in complex civil litigation matters, having litigated on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts throughout the country. Mr. Rowinsky’s practice includes contract disputes, employment disputes, tort claims, trade secrets, and oil and gas litigation. Mr. Rowinsky has taken and defended numerous depositions, delivered opening statements at trial, argued several dispositive motions, and managed complex document review projects.

A magna cum laude graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, he served on the Moot Court Team (Barrister’s Council, Appellate Advocacy Division) and was Articles Editor for the Georgetown Law Journal. Mr. Rowinsky served as a law clerk to the Honorable J. Frederick Motz of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.

Mr. Rowinsky has also maintained an active pro bono practice from his time in law school through today. He has assisted clients with employment discrimination claims, civil rights claims, and was part of a team that represented a client charged with first degree murder. Before law school, he graduated with honors from Boston College with a degree in biology.

Mr. Rowinsky joined AZA from Williams & Connolly LLP, in Washington, D.C. There, Mr. Rowinsky developed an active civil litigation and government investigations practice on a variety of matters. He represented a medical device manufacturer in national products liability litigation, and assisted several clients facing investigation by the federal and state governments.
