Jason Ballard is a former software engineer who focuses on intellectual property litigation. He is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law who interned for U.S. District Judge Lee Yeakel on the U.S. Court for the Western District. He also served as associate editor of the Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal.
Prior to law school, Jason was a software engineer in Cisco System’s network security group for five years. Afterwards, he worked at several start-ups developing mobile apps where his success gave him the opportunity to pursue a law degree.
He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in computer science.
